Q. Why is my walking belt slipping?

The walking belt is propelled by the roller which is connected to the drive belt, and ultimately to the motor. There are 3 different things that can cause slippage. You will need a service call to , rectify this problem. This usually do not require any parts.

Q. What model treadmill do you repair and what about other equipment?

Techmotion repairs every make and model treadmill, along with recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, treadclimbers, and a host of other exercise equipment.

Q. How do i make an appointment?

Making an appointment is easy. Just go to our appointment page and fill out the form. Click the send button, and someone will call you back to verify your appointment. Or you can call us at 862-273-9995.

Q. What are your rates?

Techmotion believes the customer should know what their total cost will be before the job is done. That is why Techmotion charge a flat labor rate per day, for every job we accept. Q. What If I need Parts?

If your treadmill needs parts to complete the repair, we will try to repair it using parts from our truck stock. If we do not have the part available, we will order the part for you and complete the repair on the second trip.
Please note: The part is not included in our flat rate price and is paid for separately by customer. The second trip is also charged at 1/2 price.

Q. What area's do you cover?

Techmotion services New York City (including Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Is, Westchester, Rockland), New Jersey, Connecticut, Philadelphia, DC Metro, Virginia, Maryland, Atlanta, Toronto,
Areas shaded yellow are areas we do cover. Please call to get specifics as all parts of all States are not covered.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, cc, and money order.

Q. Do you work Weekends?

Weekends jobs are rare and are only done in extremely difficult schedule situations. Please do request it if you need it.

Q. Do you provide contract service for commercial or home fitness units?

Yes. For home units, the cost is $199.00 per year. This will cover the cost of any service call throught the year, and do not include parts. If you need a contract that covers parts the price is $399.00. Please call for full details.

The commercial contract costs $4900.00 for 10 pieces of equipment, 11000.00 for 20 pieces of equipment, and $90 for each additional pieces in each case respectively. Please call for full details or click here.

Q. Do You Warranty Your Work?

All jobs have a 30 day limited warranty. Warranty covers all work done on site. Parts are covered for 90 days. Warranty do not cover tampering, abuse, and any area of unit that was not serviced by us.

What if the parts purchased do not work? Do I still have to pay for it?

No. If we recommend a part to repair your fitness equipment, and we later find that diagnosis was in error, you will not need to pay for the part. Service work, however, cannot be refunded. Second calls are billed at 1/2 price (65.00) plus the cost of any parts.

What do you mean "$130.00 flat rate"?

It means, we will repair your fitness equipment for a flat rate of $130, provided you do not need parts. If our technician arrives to your home and is able to repair you treadmill, elliptical, bike etc, without using any parts, or having to return, you pay only $130.00. Parts are additional.

Do you take credit cards on site?

If you wish to pay via credit card you can pay online or call us with your cc information.

What happens when I purchase the service using my cc?

The service charged is authorized but but your card is not charged. Your credit card will not be charged before the service tech arrives. We will contact you to schedule the actual appointment.

Should I just fill out the form first?

Filling out the form to the right will give us more information as to your problem, where you're located and when you're available, however if you need faster service, please pay online here

Why do you charge $250 for treadclimber service and not $130?

Treadclimbers are two to four times more difficult to work on and and can take up to 4 hours to repair. Since our policy is to charge one flat rate, we had to apply a reasonable fixed rate for this particular item. Your treadclimber will be repaired for $250.00, regardless of time involved.

How does your Service Plan Work?

We are very excited to offer a service plan for all out customers who wish to keep their treadmill in great working order, and at the same time avoid hefty bills. Once you purchase our service plan, we will have a technician come out at no cost to evaluate the unit. If the unit is in good working condition, your service begins immediately. If the unit is in dis-repair, it will need to be repaired before the service plan takes effect. All you pay is $9.99/mt and we will take care of any repairs needed on the unit.
